6 Step Sterilization Process

At Bhatnagar’s Advanced Dental Care, we follow one patient one instrument rule. We always take care that you get the best in dental care. All our instruments undergo 6 step sterilization protocol.

Here is the step by step process of Sterilization:

Step 1: Wash & Scrub

First step includes manual cleaning of the instruments with detergent and running water with the help of soft bristle brush. It removes dirt, organic matter & other contamination.

Step 2: Chemical Sterilization

Once done with cleaning of the instruments, they are carefully rinsed with chemical. Chemical process gets the instruments free from most of the pathogenic microorganisms, except bacterial spores.

Step 3: Ultrasonic Cleaning

After the chemical sterilization, the instruments transferred to ultrasonic cleaner. The process called cavitation which reach into tiny cracks or joints of the instruments removing the contaminants away in a much more efficient manner than manual scrubbing.

Step 4: Drying

The instruments then dried with compressed air with no humidity, or with paper towels and clean lint-free cloth.

Step 5: Separate Packaging

The last step before placing the instruments in the autoclave is to package them with wraps or pouches.

Step 6: Autoclaving & Storage

The package is then placed in autoclave at 135 degree Celsius which allows the sterilization agent to penetrate and can withstand the harsh conditions of steam sterilization without compromising either softness or strength.

The 6 steps ensure that all the instruments that are going to be used for treating your dental problem are 100% clean and free from contamination of any level.

BactiBarrier Detergent & Disinfectant

At Bhatnagars Advanced Dental Care, we use an EPA registered disinfectant which is effective as a bactericide, virucide, and fungicide and is authorized for use in Clinics & Hospitals.

It provides a preventative coating that inhibits future growth of bacteria.

The disinfectant does not leak into the atmosphere and does not permit organisms to adapt to it.

The Surface Protector forms a near permanent, environmentally friendly, protective shield on almost any surface. The Surface Protector’s durability is similar to that of a coat of paint. When sprayed on walls or other low-touch surfaces, it will last for years.

The application has no harmful or objectionable odors and the microscopic layer of protection is invisible and imperceptible to touch.

The Medical Emergency First Aid Kit

Medical emergencies like diabetes, asthma, chest pain, breathlessness, allergy, stroke, epilepsy attack etc. may occur anytime in any patient walking normally into the clinic & can turn fatal anytime.

Medical Emergency first aid kit bag is designed in such a way that in case of emergency when we are short of seconds to save a life and every breath counts, it opens easily and full contents of kit are displayed that are easy to access in such emergency situations.

Water Safety

We make sure that all our patients get safe & pure water for drinking. We serve mineral water to all our patients for drinking. We use RO water during all dental treatment procedures as well as for cleaning & sterilization of instruments.

Fire Safety

Emergency may occur any time, that’s why at Bhatnagar’s Advanced Dental Care we follow fire safety measures. We are prepared for emergency situations like fire. We have all the measures like emergency exits, manual call outs, fire extinguishers, safe assembly area etc. At the same time we have a well trained staff that is aware of the protocol for emergency procedures.

Biomedical Waste Management

A dental clinic has to deal with multiple patients and procedures every day which results in a lot of biomedical waste (BMW). If not disposed off properly, it may cause harm to all those who come in contact with the materials as well as the environment.

Bhatnagar’s Advanced Dental Clinic is 100% Mercury & Arsenic Free. We do not use dental materials which will directly or indirectly harm our patients or mother earth just for the sake of Cost cutting.
